Job Summary
Night shift Certified Nursing Assistant position at StoneBridge Senior Living located in Marble Hill, MO. Provides supportive services to residents and assists nursing staff with activities of daily living, lifting/positioning/transporting residents, coordinating dining room services and meal delivery, delivering nutritional supplements, tracking resident weight and documenting intake, monitoring skin condition, and reporting changes in a resident’s condition. Works within care plans and facility policies to deliver compassionate, patient-centered elderly care in a long-term care setting; requires empathy, patience, and clear communication in an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state-approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment
- High School Graduate/GED preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care preferred
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members
