Job Summary
Provide supportive services to nursing staff and perform assigned duties for residents with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Assist with activities of daily living, including lifting, turning, moving, and transporting residents between beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs. Coordinate dining services, deliver nutritional supplements, track resident skin conditions, and document progress on daily flow sheets. Report changes in resident condition or factors interfering with work to the nurse and supervisor. Requires Certified Nursing Aide certification in good standing, high school diploma, and current CPR/BLS certification. Located in Osage Beach, MO, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state-approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment REQUIRED
- Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members
Desired Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care preferred
