Job Summary
Join BrightStar Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional, high-quality care to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), performing safe transfers, supporting client mobility and comfort, and delivering basic and advanced dementia care. Must hold an active CNA certification and have a minimum of one year of experience in personal care or home care. Additional requirements include a current driver’s license, auto insurance, valid physical and TB test, and CPR/First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care or home care
- Current driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Valid physical and negative 2-step TB test
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
Additional Requirements
- Must be comfortable working around household pets (cats/dogs) as this is common in client homes
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
