Job Summary
Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance to clients in Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City, Bethany, Yukon, Mustang, and El Reno. Assist with safe transfers, mobility, ambulation, and fall prevention while supporting meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration. Complete light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, and sweeping to maintain a tidy home. Monitor clients' overall well-being, communicate concerns to the office, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided during each visit. Encourage independence while treating every client with dignity and respect. Requires current CNA certification, six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant, and ability to work independently in client residences with flexible full-time or part-time schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school graduate of G.E.D. certificate
- Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities)
- successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently in clients' homes while following individualized care plans
- Interpersonal relations abilities
- Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Primarily works in client's place of residence
- travel may be required
- Shift times and days vary with client needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
