Job Summary
Receive patient assignments from the supervising clinical team and prepare equipment for activities of daily living. Assist with ambulation, bathing, oral hygiene, and pressure relief while maintaining infection control practices. Report patient abnormalities or injuries to the supervising nurse and complete documentation for care provided, vitals, and intake/outtake data. Stock supplies, check dates, and organize equipment areas as assigned. Demonstrate compassion, time management skills, and adherence to WhidbeyHealth's core values to support a patient-centered care culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- CNA certification required in the State of Washington
- Current Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HCP) verification
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Proficient in providing age-specific basic nursing care
Desired Qualifications
- At least six (6) months recent patient care experience preferred
