Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Work full-time on three 12-hour day shifts weekly at the Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Maintain Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification and National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
