Job Summary
Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s). Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, lifting, turning, transferring, meal service and documentation; coordinating dining services, delivering nutritional supplements, monitoring weight and skin condition, assisting with toileting, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and facility policies; participates in care-plan meetings and performance-improvement activities. Requires current state CNA, HS diploma or equivalent, CPR/BLS, Food Handler Permit, and ability to work in long-term care settings. One year of LTC CNA experience is preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current Food Handler Permit
- Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required)
