Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant sought to join Trustwell Living’s care team. Responsibilities include assisting residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs) and other care per resident service plans, including bathing, toileting, transfers, and mobility; providing a safe, home-like environment; performing infection-control procedures; communicating changes in resident status to nursing staff; completing shift reports and maintaining resident records. Requires adherence to dignity and independence for residents, ability to read and follow service plans, and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma/GED, CNA license as required by the state, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, and 1+ year of experience in a similar role; able to lift up to 50 pounds; English literacy. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred
- CNA is required by the state
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
- Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license
- 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred
