Job Summary
Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing fluids and nourishment throughout the shift. Support personal hygiene needs, document food and fluid intake, and transport residents within the facility while maintaining clean living areas. Observe residents for health issues and report findings to supervising nurses, assisting staff as needed and adhering to all facility policies and professional standards. Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current and Valid CNA certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
