Job Summary
Provide personal care and assistance to residents in a senior living community under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator. Perform vital signs, assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, mobility, meals), support safe transfers and ambulation, and remind residents about medications. Maintain a clean, safe living environment and contribute to documentation and progress notes. Adhere to infection control and HIPAA policies, attend in-service trainings, and participate in activities to engage residents. Requires active CNA certification, CPR certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; minimum caregiving experience of 6 months, preferably with seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors
