Job Summary
Implement skills training programs covering daily living, eating, and mobility while facilitating age-appropriate leisure and educational activities. Assist with planning and participating in field trips and community experience programs. Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and goals. Support students through behavioral programming, communication interventions, and assistive technology solutions. Participate in daily care and mobility programs, including lifting and transferring students as needed. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan activities and address student needs during department and unit meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate/GED
- Must be Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- willing to obtain certification within three months of hire
