Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant needed in the Emergency Department. Assists in performing nursing care services for patients, receiving patient care assignments from an RN, and initiating delegated tasks based on demonstrated competency. Documents and communicates patient data to the licensed nurse; monitors patient conditions and changes, relays information to team members, and responds to patient calls. Provides direct patient care including baths, ambulation, hygiene, feeding, skin care, and making beds; performs dressing changes, enemas, ostomy and catheter care, toileting, turning, and monitoring intake/output. May perform point-of-care testing and assists with discharge preparation. Also supports clerical duties such as medical-record transcription and charting. Requires active CNA certification and BLS HCP in WI/MO/OK/IL. Night shift, part-time (24 hours per week), at SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI. Equal opportunity employer.
