Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and positioning devices. Monitor patient status by taking vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure, then report findings to the registered nurse. Provide restorative care and manage personal care needs while performing basic clerical duties like routing patient reports. Maintain unit efficiency through prioritization and organizational skills within the scope of practice. This role requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
- E-Verify participation acknowledgment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP
