Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant position at a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility in Charlotte, MI. Full-time and pool/per diem/casual roles available. CNA provides basic nursing care and assistance under the direct supervision of the charge nurse, including bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, transferring, positioning, weights, and vitals, with changes reported to the charge nurse. Shifts are 12 hours (5a-5p, 5p-5a, or 5p-1a) with every other weekend and every other holiday. We offer competitive benefits (health, vision, dental, pension, PTO, holiday pay, quarterly bonuses) and a six-week on-the-job CNA training program in partnership with DRM International Learning Institute in East Lansing. First-year pay starts at $19.50/hour, up to $22/hour with experience, plus hazard pay ($3.40/hour when funded) and weekend premium ($2/hour on Sat/Sun).
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or eligible for CNA licensure in Michigan
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Basic caregiving duties including bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, transferring, positioning, checking weights and vitals
