Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant duties in an Assisted Living Facility and Rehabilitation Center: assist with activities of daily living, meal service and feeding, mobility and positioning, vital signs and documentation, transport of patients, call light response, and observation reporting to nursing supervisor. Maintain patient comfort, confidentiality of information, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Requires California CNA certification, BLS/CPR, and 2 years of CNA experience; strong clinical knowledge, professional bedside manner, multitasking, and effective communication. Shifts include day, evening, and overnight on a part-time/full-time/per-diem basis in San Pablo, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Certification with accredited training course through the State of California
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
- 2 years of nursing assistant experience
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of relevant nursing care
- Friendly and professional bedside manner
- Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
- Understands legal implications of patient care
