Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant in Northern California (San Jose, CA) providing patient care in Assisted Living Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (meals, feeding, ambulating, turning/positioning) and ensuring patient comfort; administering adjunct care such as enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical prep, ice/heat therapies, and restraints; monitoring vital signs, urine testing, and tracking intake/output; transporting patients, responding to call lights, and documenting actions. Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies, JC AHO standards, and licensure requirements. Maintain ongoing education, participate in staff development, and uphold professional standards. CPR/BLS certification required; CA CNA certification with accredited training course; 2 years of CNA experience; strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
Required Qualifications
- Certification with accredited training course through the State of California
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
- 2 years of nursing assistant experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
