Job Summary
Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, performing activities of daily living, assisting with lifting and moving residents, coordinating dining services, and documenting care in compliance with facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current Food Handler Permit
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care (preferred, not required)
- Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors
- Strong listening skills and ability to deal with conflict with professionalism
- Ability to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations
- Positive interpersonal relationship skills
