Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, dressing, and meal preparation. Execute housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and changing bed linens. Provide patient-specific support through medication reminders, exercise assistance, incontinence care, and hospice supportive care. Utilize lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts for safe transfers. This role requires a CNA license or HHA Certificate with a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a Level 2 background check. Candidates must also have experience with Hoyer lifts and Alzheimer's care.
Required Qualifications
- Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- CNA license or HHA Certificate (HHAs - Must have badge from Palm Beach County - no exceptions!)
- Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
- Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, Voter's Registration, etc.)
- Auto Insurance
- CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
- TB or Chest X-ray
- Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
- Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
- 1 letter of recommendation
