Job Summary
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse and collaborates with the care team. Responsibilities include orienting patients to the hospital environment, engaging patients and families in handoffs and rounding to ensure safety and promote a positive patient experience, documenting progress in the EMR, contributing to safety culture, assisting with nutrition and medications as appropriate, monitoring telemetry and alarms, and performing tasks to support nursing staff and patient flow within the Pulmonary unit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or higher preferred
- SRNA - State Registered Nurse Assistant in Kentucky required upon hire
- BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment
