Job Summary
Monitor residents' well-being, report condition changes immediately, and assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and ambulation. Provide companionship, encourage self-care, and document care consistent with standards while maintaining confidentiality and practicing infection control. Support resident-centered wellness programs, manage assistive devices, and cover the Customer Service desk if necessary. Greet family and prospects, direct individuals to appropriate contacts, and assist in community events and special programs. Maintain room upkeep, participate in cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance by reporting issues to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification in Florida
- First Aid certification
- CPR certification
- State training requirements and/or certifications
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Passing a drug screen
- Passing a job specific-related physical
- Passing a TB test
- Passing a background check
