Job Summary
Provide hands-on care and support to patients while assisting with daily living activities, monitoring needs, and reporting changes to nursing staff. Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following each facility's specific policies and procedures. Communicate clearly with facility staff and the staffing team, arriving on time for scheduled shifts to cover last-minute coverage needs in hospitals, long-term care, behavioral health, and clinics. This role requires active CNA certification, current TB and CPR/BLS testing, and the ability to accept PRN shifts across various settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid CNA certification
- Current TB test
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and in person (online-only courses are not accepted)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Compassion for patients and a caring attitude
- Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts
- Consent to undergo a background check
- Consent to participate in a drug screening test
- Accuracy of all information provided during the application process
