Job Summary
Provide hands-on care and support to patients while following each facility's policies and procedures. Assist with daily living activities, monitor patient needs, report changes to nursing staff, and help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment. Communicate clearly with facility staff and the staffing team, arrive on time for scheduled shifts, and be ready to step in for last-minute coverage needs. This role requires active CNA certification, current TB testing, and instructor-led CPR/BLS certification. Background checks and drug screenings are mandatory for all prospective employees.
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid CNA certification
- Current TB test
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and in person (online-only courses are not accepted)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Compassion for patients and a caring attitude
- Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts
- Consent to undergo a background check
- Consent to participate in a drug screening test
- Accuracy of information provided during the application process
