Certified Nursing Assistant PRN

Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics, while turning and repositioning them as needed. Make beds daily, change linens per policy, and obtain vital signs as directed by the nurse. Care for incontinent residents, document intake and output, and maintain clean bedside areas. Answer call lights, clean equipment like wash basins and lifts, and check on residents to ensure needs are met. Document all personal care given and report symptoms, reactions, or condition changes to the charge nurse. Detect unsafe conditions and comply with infection control protocols. Assist in care plan development, orient new staff, and participate in in-service programs. Respond to emergencies in the independent living setting or campus. Requires valid Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, one year of experience in long-term or acute care, and CPR certification.
