Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Primrose Retirement Communities provides basic resident care and assists with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, and meal services. The role supports the nursing department and collaborates with other departments, residents, families, and medical professionals to promote residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. Requires experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred, current CNA certification, CPR/First Aid as per state regulations, and the ability to work weekends/holidays on a rotating basis. Shifts available days or evenings with full-time or part-time hours; pay starts at $17.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred
- Demonstrates ability to work as a team
- Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
- Opportunities for full-time or part-time hours
