Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe environment and ensure all patients receive appropriate support while working evenings as a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant. Hold a current CNA certificate, BLS certification, and Behavioral Violence Prevention certificate upon hire. Minimum six months of acute care hospital or physicians office experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement
