Job Summary
Provide delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel to support the patient’s plan of care. Requires Nebraska CNA certification and BLS within 30 days of hire; strong communication skills are essential. Based on department needs, Medication Aide certification and Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association-approved program within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
