Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Complete required Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification and obtain National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work full-time 36-hour weekly shifts on day shifts at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly
- Day Shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
