Job Summary
Provide compassionate, personalized care to adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting. Assess patient behavior and document observations; model and teach life skills to promote independent living; escort patients and assist with daily living activities; maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; provide de-escalation and physical intervention if necessary (training provided); monitor and document patients’ behaviors, moods, and physical conditions and promptly report changes to the clinical team; assist with ADLs and collaborate with nursing to address medical needs such as feeding and vitals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Certification
- Must be 21 years of age
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare, behavioral, or social services setting preferred
