Job Summary
Assist in patient care delivery under Registered Nurse direction by performing basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Take vital signs, record patient information, and support medical procedures and tests while maintaining a clean environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and participate in care conferences. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. This per diem role serves patients in ICU, CCU, Med Surg, DOU, and ER settings. Current California CNA certification, one year of acute care experience, and BLS/CPR are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in an acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
