Job Summary
Provide for patients’ personal hygiene and daily care, including bedpan/urinal assistance, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves, and showers; assist with meals and feeding; aid with ambulation, turning, and positioning; manage hydration and nourishment between meals; perform urine testing and specimen collection; monitor and report patient conditions; measure and record intake/output and vital signs; assist with walking and moving patients, while adhering to unit policies and safeguarding assets. Requires a Certified Nursing Assistant license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Shift pattern includes full-time 12-hour days/nights with weekend coverage; strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a university-affiliated health system.
