Job Summary
Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and perineal care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Monitor resident intake and output, document care activities, and use mechanical lifts as required. Report any changes or needs to the nursing staff daily while adhering to P&P and State and Federal regulations. Perform any additional duties assigned by the team. This part-time day shift role (7:00pm-3:00p) requires State of Michigan CNA certification, the ability to lift 50lbs, and availability every other weekend. The position is with The Gilbert Residence, a 5-star CMS-rated 501(c)(3) providing care to 90 residents across basic nursing, assisted living, and specialized dementia units.
Required Qualifications
- State of Michigan CNA Certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Positive attitude
- Must be reliable
- Must be available every other weekend
