Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant - OR - Bellevue Medical Center: Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of the patient’s plan of care. Shift: First Shift, Full-Time Days, 7:00am - 7:00pm with variable shift days; no weekends or Holidays. Educational Support includes up to $5,000/year in tuition assistance and pathway opportunities. Requires Nebraska CNA certification and BLS within 30 days of hire. May require Medication Aide certification and Injectables course after hire in outpatient settings. Strong communication skills and basic medical terminology knowledge preferred. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
- Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
