Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Safely transfer and reposition patients using proper lifting and mobility equipment. Conduct patient rounds, respond to call lights, and obtain vital signs, blood glucose checks, and EKGs within the EHR system. Support nursing staff with wound care, Foley catheter care, specimen collection, and patient monitoring while ensuring infection control standards. Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and medical providers regarding patient needs. Requires active Texas CNA certification, six months of experience, current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification through the State of Texas
- 6 months of experience
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
