Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant role involves providing personal care, hygiene, and grooming services to residents under the supervision of registered or practical nurses, while complying with established policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
- CNA certification
- Must be included on the Wisconsin Nurses Registry
- Knowledge of department organization, functions, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Comply with Caregiver Law and Grant conditions criminal history checks
- Must complete Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) training prior to employment
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
Additional Requirements
- Applicants age 50 and older are exempt from the education requirement
- Must pass a background check to meet Employment Eligibility Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment
