CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT-ONCOLOGY

Assist patients with basic care tasks including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, transferring, ambulating, transporting, and making beds. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, glucometer readings, oxygen saturation, weight intake, output, and food consumption. Clean and maintain equipment, patient rooms, and other areas as assigned. Report patient status changes or call light requests to licensed nursing staff and document care information per policies in the medical record. Communicate patient status and care issues to nursing staff while verbally engaging patients, families, and department staff. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Methodist Hospitals' ethical business practices and compliance standards.
