Certified Nursing Assistant (Nursing Facility)

Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing facility provides activities of daily living, including assisting with meals, feeding as necessary, ambulating, turning and positioning patients, providing water and nourishment, and transporting patients. Works with nursing staff to consider physical, psychosocial, age-specific, and cultural factors; maintains patient stability by monitoring vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake/output; delivers patient comfort and responds to calls, reports observations to the nursing supervisor, and documents actions in forms and records. Requires active Kentucky CNA licensure and BLS certification. As Needed scheduling.
