Job Summary
Provide basic nursing services to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming and personal care, while managing prioritized work assignments in a fast-paced environment. Maintain effective oral and written communication in English and possess a current American Heart Association BLS card. A current California CNA certificate is preferred. This role supports the nursing team at ACU, focusing on patient safety and daily care coordination.
Required Qualifications
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Manage/prioritized/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course
- Relevant experience assisting with activities of daily living such as providing basic nursing personal care services such as patient hygiene, grooming while assisting the nursing staff
- Current California CNA certificate
