Job Summary
Provide hands-on nursing care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in hospice care under RN supervision. Deliver patient-focused support including bathing, grooming, oral and skin care, assistance with mobility/ambulation/transfers, and range-of-motion exercises; perform homemaker tasks such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and feeding assistance; reinforce infection-control practices and standard precautions. Offer emotional support to patients and families, support primary caregivers with guidance and hands-on help, and collaborate with an RN to coordinate care. This is a full-time role serving patients in Boone and DeKalb counties with no weekend shifts and eligibility for benefits; compensation ranges from $20.50 to $26.37 per hour, with IRS mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois State Nursing Assistant Certificate
- High school diploma or GED
- Must meet all state/federal CNA training and competency standards
- One year of CNA, nursing home, or home health experience preferred
