Job Summary
Provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care under supervision; assists with personal care and housekeeping tasks; reports observations and pertinent information; reviews care plans to identify changes in daily care; contributes to standards of care and staff education; participates in identifying educational needs; maintains safety and cleanliness of resident rooms; assists with activity participation and documentation of participation; ensures resident call lights are answered promptly and supports dietary responsibilities as needed; maintains confidentiality of resident information.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent is required.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience or student nurse preferred.
- Completion of certification program for Nursing Assistants preferred.
- Certified in CPR, first aid training and documentation of Personal Hygiene training with nurse instructor.
