Requires a high school diploma, state-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course, and six months of caregiving experience. Flexible schedules accommodate client needs, with travel required to client residences.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or PCA course
- Can read, write, and speak English
- High school graduate of G.E.D. certificate
- Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities)
- Interpersonal relations abilities
- Primarily works in client's place of residence
- Travel may be required
- Shift times and days vary with client needs
