Certified Nursing Assistant - Med Tech -CNA-M

Administer routinely scheduled oral and topical medications to assigned residents via scanning per policy. Monitor and record vital signs according to physician orders and standards, reporting any unusual side effects to the Charge Nurse. Maintain accurate documentation of all medications and treatments, assist with returning, re-ordering, and destroying medications, and notify the Charge Nurse of outdated items or projected shortages. Make suggestions to resolve problems or streamline the medication system. Requires a state-approved CNA program completion, Maine CNA Registry registration, Nursing Assistant-Medication training, and EMR system proficiency. Reports to the Charge Nurse under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
