Certified Nursing Assistant - Med Tech -CNA-M

Administer routinely scheduled oral and topical medications to assigned residents via scanning per policy. Monitor and record vital signs according to physician orders and standards, while reporting any unusual medication side effects to the Charge Nurse. Maintain accurate documentation of all medications and treatments based on facility policy and best practices. Assist with returning, re-ordering, and destroying medications, and notify the Charge Nurse of expired items or projected shortages. Make suggestions to resolve problems or streamline the medication system. Requires state-approved CNA program completion, Maine CNA Registry certification, and Nursing Assistant-Medication training.
