Job Summary
Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of adult and pediatric patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake. Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises while checking vitals and documenting changes in condition. Work alongside RNs, LVNs, and Respiratory Therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care in a sub-acute facility. Requires a high school diploma, active California CNA license, minimum six months of sub-acute experience, BLS certification, and Fire card. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours with rotating weekends; pay is $23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant License in California
- Minimum of 6 months CNA experience in a Sub-Acute facility
- BLS, Fire card, TB test (within 1 year), Pre - Employment physical
- Per California state mandate, the COVID 19 vaccine
- Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature
- Good communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Shift: AM / NOC (7am - 3:30pm) / (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Any days between Thursday through Monday (Rotating weekends)
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Shift: Day: (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Shift: Noc: (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Weekdays + rotating weekends
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Pediatric experience
