Certified Nursing Assistant II - Pediatric Emergency Department, Full Time, Days

Assist in patient admissions by orienting individuals to the unit, hospital routine, and care equipment. Respond to patient needs through direct assistance or by reporting changes in condition to appropriate staff. Carry out delegated tasks to implement the nursing plan of care, including retrieving supplies from the medication room. Maintain a clean, well-stocked patient environment and actively participate in cost containment and accurate charging. Perform waived testing and maintain required NAII skills per unit competency. Adhere to the Hospital Innovation Project for customer satisfaction and throughput. This role requires BLS and CNA certification, high school graduation, and proficiency in English. The position involves lifting 35 pounds, standing, walking, and bending, with exposure to blood and body secretions. Schedule is full-time days at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
