Job Summary
Provide supportive services to nurse and staff as assigned. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including lifting, turning, moving, and transporting them between beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts. Coordinate dining room services for meal setup, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and intake documentation. Deliver nutritional supplements, record weights, and monitor skin condition while reporting pressure areas or breakdowns to supervisors. Complete daily flow sheets and document resident progress as directed. Notify staff of factors interfering with work performance or changes in resident condition. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant certification, one year of long-term care experience, and current CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- No disciplinary action in effect against certification
- At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care
