Job Summary
Answer signal lights and bells to assess resident needs, then bathe, dress, and undress patients while serving food trays and transporting residents. Turn and reposition bedfast individuals to prevent bedsores, change linens, and record vital signs, intake, and output. Document care in Caretracker via kiosk each shift and assist with ongoing assessments, doctor appointments, and errands. Clean, sterilize, and prepare dressing packs and treatment trays as directed. Maintain a high level of professionalism, greet residents warmly by name, and anticipate their needs to promote independence.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in the state of NC
- HS Diploma or GED
- CPR certified or ability to obtain once hired
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or submission of a COVID-19 Vaccination Declination
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year minimal related experience and/or training
- Experience in geriatrics care, SNF (healthcare) or LTC
