Job Summary
Support residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, toileting, feeding, and safe movement. Provide personal services, assist with medications and treatments, and help with meal services such as setting tables and cleaning dining areas. Maintain a clean environment through housekeeping duties and encourage participation in social and recreational activities. Monitor resident needs and health status, documenting changes per established procedures. Respond promptly to emergency call systems and report any abuse or suspected abuse to supervisors. Follow infection control procedures and adhere to resident service plans.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with seniors preferred
- Experience performing care-giving tasks preferred
