Job Summary
Assist residents with daily living activities, offer kind words and a listening ear, and maintain smooth operations through documentation and teamwork. Participate in fun events and activities like eggroll making or bean bag baseball. Maintain current Texas CNA certification and possess a valid certification. One year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred. Join the team for evening shifts (4/2 rotation, 2pm-10pm) with a $2 shift differential. This role is part of Mirador Retirement Community's non-profit, faith-based continuing care facility, which offers independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory support, and rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Texas)
- Completion of Certified Nursing Aide program
- Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification
- High school graduate or equivalent
