Job Summary
Provide physical care including bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, transferring, and ambulation. Document patient care and observations in real-time. Communicate timely with licensed nurses regarding changes in patient condition or behavior. Assist in dining processes by preparing residents for meals, serving trays, and recording oral intakes. Transport patients to scheduled therapy appointments and facilitate recreational, motivational, and socialization activities. Respond promptly to call lights and conduct regular rounding to identify and address needs. Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity while ensuring room cleanliness and safety. Adhere to infection control procedures and Par Scanning protocols for supply management. Maintain a clean professional appearance and complete annual continuing education requirements. Work day shift weekends at $12/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification course
- Valid state CNA license
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Day shift
- Weekends
- 12/hour shifts
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a CNA role
