Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents in a retirement community, assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, grooming, incontinent care, and daily dressing; supports admissions, transfers, and discharges; assists with light housekeeping and laundry, meal preparation and delivery, and engagement with residents and families; maintains records of fluid intake/output and nutritional information; may assist in Skilled Care with elimination programs, use of Hoyer lift, and applying restraints; participates in activities and care planning, and supports resident rights; requires CPR/First Aid certification and a Georgia CNA license; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and extensive standing/walking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Georgia
- Ability to read, write and follow written/oral instructions in English
- CPR and/or First Aid required
